For many people, a deep, rejuvenating sleep is worth its weight in gold.  Tired of suffering during the night from a mattress that is either too soft or too firm, tossing and turning, being woken up by their partner, or by children sneaking into their bed, many people decide to purchase the space age Tempur pedic mattress system.  This memory foam bed also resolves many other issues, such as problems sleeping because of back issues and arthritis.  Developed by Tempur-pedic, the Swedish company, these bed systems became available to buy in 1992.  The company was inspired by similar products being developed by NASA to counter the G force experienced by astronauts during space mission.  They since spend close to a decade developing their product.

For some people, however, the price of Tempur-pedic mattresses is prohibitive, and if not prohibitive, motivating enough that they want to find the best price on tempur pedic mattress.  Although the prices for these bed systems are listed on the official Tempur-pedic website, some vendors are prohibited by Tempur-pedic from putting a Tempurpedic price list on their own websites.  This most likely means that they are offering very competitive prices.  Although their prices are not listed, you can usually obtain the price from these merchants by calling or visiting their stores.

When visiting their stores, online or in person, you might want to keep in mind that the tempur pedic price may also be negotiable.  Tempur pedic system are big ticket items, and there is often room for negotiation.  If you can’t negotiate the Tempurpedic prices, you may be able to negotiate on things like delivery costs, extras like mattress pads, or even arrange to have things like pillows or the sweet Tempur-pedic teddy bear thrown into your package.  This is also true if you are buying from a Tempur-pedic reseller that also offers custom products, for hard to fit bed frames or cribs and things.

Tempur pedic bed pricing is not written in stone.  There may however, be other limits placed on resellers by Tempur pedic.  This is a common tactic used by many to maintain the integrity of their products, as well as sometimes a fee or the setting of minimum inventory or sales.  This is not however to say that this is the case with this bed system.  You will want to check with several retailers to see if indeed there is a difference in pricing amongst them.
